Rushing was built from the ground up. Through dedication, strength, and putting humans first, a particular rush comes with putting together all of the pieces. This nine-story South Lake Union apartment building includes approximately 200 studio, one- and two-bedroom units. 624 Yale offers indoor/outdoor rooftop entertainment space, a courtyard water feature, speakeasy-style den, fitness center and business center.

5th Ave United Methodist Church

The United Methodist Church on Fifth Avenue in downtown Seattle was designated a historic landmark in 2004. In 2007, developers at Daniels Real Estate purchased the site to preserve the sanctuary and build a new 48-story mixed-use tower on site. This high-rise residential building is situated in the South Lake Union neighborhood of downtown Seattle. Cocoon House

This three-story, 35,000 square foot mixed-use building provides low-income housing for youth in Everett, Washington. Cocoon House is a non-profit that provides services and housing for homeless youth, with this building serving as a long-term housing option, including 40 housing units, commons and office space. The project earned LEED Silver certification.

Cyrene (Western and University)

This 16-story building in downtown Seattle includes approximately 165 apartment units, ground-level retail space and parking for 135 cars. Cyrene offers controlled-access parking with electrical vehicle stations, three separate lounge areas, an entertaining kitchen, theater lounge and rooftop club room.

East Union (2220 E Union)

This six-story residential midrise includes a landscaped roof terrace, street-level commercial space, and two controlled-access parking areas. Situated in the Central District the building offers 144 one- and two-bedroom units. Rushing provided HVAC, plumbing, and electrical engineering services as well as full interior and exterior lighting design for the East Union apartments.  

Elara at the Market (2134 Western)

Elara at the Market is a 145-unit mixed-use apartment building situated in downtown Seattle. With studio to two-bedroom penthouse units, Elara also includes a rooftop deck, dog spa and lounge among its amenities.  The Rushing Sustainability Studio guided sustainability initiatives for the project from design through construction, reviewing submittals and design drawings to monitor compliance…

Eleanor (68th and 8th)

Eleanor is a 7-story multifamily building in Seattle’s Roosevelt neighborhood. With 260 units, the site’s two distinct building surround a welcoming, green courtyard. Eleanor earned LEED for Homes Gold certification and is just around the corner from a future light rail station.

Esterra Park (Block 8)

This 30-acre complex includes more than 2,600 apartments across six buildings, each with a range of amenities; the 285-room Westin Hotel for both short and extended stays; and approximately 247,000 square feet of high-tech office space. Helios (2nd and Pine)

This 40-story residential tower includes 398 luxury apartments position atop a podium of 3,000 square feet of retail space. Helios also features a rooftop deck, electric vehicle charging stations, low energy appliances, bicycle parking, and a five-story 217-stall underground parking garage. Jackson Apartments

This seven-story mixed-use building includes 532-unit mixed-income residential units and 500 underground parking spaces. King Street Station

Rushing provided tenant improvement renovations to the historic downtown Amtrak train station. Included were HVAC and plumbing design, electrical, lighting, life safety systems and telecommunications cabling infrastructure design for 12,000 square feet of mezzanine.
