Carlos is a Seattle native who graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. While in school, he joined a mechanical design firm for an internship, where he learned the basics of mechanical and plumbing design. Carlos then joined full-time at the firm, gaining experience in designing mechanical systems for mixed-use buildings, fire stations, and high-end residential homes. He enjoys the challenges and problem-solving required to integrate mechanical systems serving various building types.

Carlos will often explore the outdoors outside the office with his dog Juno, who loves running and hiking. When Carlos is not spending time with Juno, he finds peace playing softball, football, volleyball, and bouldering.
