Bellevue condo tower project receives key approvals
A new, 21-story condominium tower in Bellevue, Washington, has received key approvals for the project to progress. The City of Bellevue approved the project design and the site received a determination of non-significance under the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA). Rushing is providing electrical engineering, lighting design and energy services for the project known as Zeyda.
Developed by Bosa, Zeyda will include 77 one- through three-bedroom condominiums, five of which will be affordable housing. The site also includes six levels of parking—two below-grade—and two levels of commercial space.
Zeyda is planned north of another 21-story condominium tower developed by Bosa: One88, where Rushing is also providing electrical engineering and energy services. Most condos for One88 have been sold. Both designed by Amanat Architect, Zeyda and One88 will put residents in walking distance of the future downtown Bellevue light rail station, part of the Sound Transit East Link project to connect Bellevue with downtown Seattle.
Rushing is on the project teams of several other downtown Seattle-area condominium towers in progress, including Spire, The Emerald, Graystone, and Third and Cherry, as well as the recently completed NEXUS condominiums.
