We’re celebrating some exciting staff updates at Rushing!

  • Mechanical Project Engineer Steven Huff passed the LEED Building Design and Construction test, earning the LEED AP BD+C designation. Steven’s BD+C expertise will contribute most substantially to Indoor Environmental Quality for HVAC systems and Water Efficiency with plumbing systems for new construction projects as well as core and shell for future tenants in commercial buildings.

  • Senior Lighting Designer Emily Myers passed the Green Associate and Interior Design and Construction exams, becoming the first LEED AP ID+C at Rushing. Her knowledge of the Indoor Environmental Quality and Materials and Resources requirements for LEED will be beneficial for both new construction and commercial interiors design.

  • Edgar Ornelas earned his LEED AP BD+C credential, bringing the Energy Modeling group’s percentage of AP designees to 75%. As an Energy Analyst, Edgar’s expertise aligns with the Energy and Atmosphere component of the LEED rating system, and his new credential will help guide project teams seeking LEED certification toward achievement of these credits.

  • CAD/Revit Technician Qasim Saud passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam and is our newest EIT. Qasim is working toward professional licensure as a mechanical engineer in the State of Washington and holds a Bachelor’s degree in the discipline.
