Rushing is a finalist for the 2014 King County Small Business Awards! We are one of three finalists in the Workforce Development category.
The Workforce Development award recognizes businesses that provide opportunities for skill development, partnerships with community organizations, and innovative practices that contribute to growing and maintaining a skilled workforce.
We’ve celebrated numerous workforce achievements in the past year. A few of the highlights include:
Over a dozen new staff joined our team.
Employees participated and presented at Railvolution, the International Living Future Institute unConference, Greenbuild, Light Fair International, Alight and the 2014 ASPE Convention.
We added weekly onsite yoga sessions to our extensive benefits.
Three employees earned their LEED Accredited Professional certifications following an internal study session series led by one of their peers.
Professional organization involvement achieved new levels with participation in ASHRAE, NAIOP, WSBCC, BCA, Biomimicry Puget Sound and many more.
We are thrilled to be among the finalists and are excited to attend the Awards Event on October 15!
