An update from Chief Executive Officer Rae Anne Rushing:
COVID-19 is creating unease in our community, and we want to acknowledge the impact it is having on our team, clients and the industry at large. Right now, our top priority is protecting the health and well-being of the Rushing community, while continuing to deliver best-in-class integrated design to our clients. To do this, we are employing the following strategies:
- Maximizing telecommuting options. Our team is equipped with technology to get the most complex design projects across the finish line—whether from our office or their home. We will continue to be accessible and accountable on all projects.
- Limiting meeting attendance. Rushing employees are not attending external meetings in person, regardless of size. We will utilize electronic call-in to attend meetings.
- Constant monitoring. We are closely monitoring reports from the World Health Organization; Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; and federal, state and local agencies to align our guidelines with health authority recommendations. We’re also monitoring Seattle and Washington State to be aware of shifting deadlines and rescheduling occurring that might impact our clients and projects.
As always, Rushing will maintain our role as an expert resource during these unsettling times. Please reach out to our leadership team with any questions or concerns that you may have. We are here to support you.
