This adaptive reuse project transformed an existing bank building into a community wellness center designed to facilitate a range of uses including healthy cooking classes, CPR training, consultations and meetings. To achieve the goals of the Verdant Health Commission, Rushing provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing design services as part of the Ankrom Moisan-led team.

Transitioning the building from its former use into a flexible, effective community asset included removal of the driveway, ATM, and vault followed by conversion of interior spaces, upgrades for accessibility, and reconstruction of the entry.  The redeveloped facility opened its doors to residents of Lynnwood in early 2015
