Located inside Volunteer Park in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, the Seattle Asian Art Museum occupies a twentieth century Landmark Art Deco Building which originally housed the Seattle Art Museum’s main collection. Rushing joined a team tasked with expanding gallery space in the basement and renovating the lobby of the building.
