The project consists of a new 5,630 sf single story fire station, including dormitory, laundry and exercise space, as well as restrooms with showers for the fire department staff and a bay for emergency vehicle storage. Pursuing LEED NC Gold Certification, Rushing is providing sustainability and commissioning services for the project which includes stormwater mitigation strategies for the driveway and concrete wash pad.
