As a critical team member of the Sustainability Studio, Stefanie provides LEED management and administration services. She brings well-rounded experience working with architecture firms, developers and homeowners, assessing appropriate sustainable solutions for their projects. Stefanie applies her technical skills to perform energy studies, climate analysis, and daylight modeling for projects of various types. She has been an integral part of over 40 LEED projects with a focus on LEED-NC (New Construction) and CS (Core & Shell) as well as seven Built Green projects.

Stefanie has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon, a Master of Urban Planning and Design from the University of Washington and is currently a Ph.D. student in urban design and planning at the University of Washington. Her research focuses on climate change; the resilience and adaptation of the built environment; and ecosystem services. At the University of Washington, she is spearheading sustainability projects on campus and teaches classes on sustainability, planning and design.

Stefanie is an appointed member of the LEED Energy and Atmosphere Technical Advisory Group and previously served on the Sustainable Sites Technical Advisory Group based on her experience with climate change and resiliency. She is also active in the American Planning Association (APA) and co-founded the Young Planners Group (YPG) of Puget Sound. Stefanie previously sat on the Washington State APA board and Puget Sound Section board.
