Olivia is a mechanical engineer and energy analyst on the Energy Services team at Rushing. Creative vision blended with logical thinking drives her best work. Passion for the built environment led her to work in the architecture and engineering industry, where she has performed MEP design, Revit coaching and business development. She was the mechanical and plumbing lead of the Cleveland Public Library Assessment, for which she assessed 27 buildings onsite to compile and deliver a formal technical report which provided a comprehensive 10-year plan for revitalization.
Olivia earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology with a minor in cultural anthropology. While in school, she worked to expand the representation of women in engineering fields as a Women in Engineering office staff member. She took advantage of opportunities to study abroad in Eastern Europe where she often traveled solo, exploring urban and natural environments and meeting diverse personalities. She loves running, skiing and other varieties of fitness and spontaneous outdoors adventures. Painting, drawing and mingling at art museums are a few of her artistic hobbies. She is from Cleveland, Ohio, and proudly participates in the Cleveland Slovenian cultural community.
