Nina Olivier offers expertise in green building and corporate sustainability planning. She is passionate about Rushing’s holistic approach to both its projects and work as a team.

She enjoys applying her climate resiliency planning, environmental science, and green building background toward Rushing projects. Previously, Nina served as a program coordinator for Washington State’s leading green building certification program, worked as a corporate waste solutions sustainability consultant, and managed projects for a high-performance energy retrofit company.

Nina holds a Master of Science Degree in Natural Resource Management and Urban Planning from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Environmental Science from Western Washington University. Nina had the opportunity to serve as a Peace Corps Natural Resource Management Volunteer in the Philippines for over two years.

She is currently a program coordinator of the NW EcoBuilding Guild and was recently appointed the Climate Resiliency and Green House Gas Reduction Specialist for the City of Seattle’s Green New Deal Oversight Board. She enjoys painting, gardening, biking, climbing, hiking, and the author Paul Hawken.
