Mechanical project engineer
Nathan is new to the Pacific Northwest, having previously lived and worked both in the San Francisco Bay area and in Boston, Massachusetts. During his time in Boston, Nathan worked for a multinational engineering and architectural consulting firm with a focus on high tech, including wafer fabrication facilities, and life science projects. In California, Nathan worked as a mechanical designer on commercial and lab spaces for a mechanical contractor.
After moving to Seattle, Nathan fell in love with the beauty and diversity of the region. He believes that the work environment should be a supportive and inclusive place for everyone, and that it should begin with him and how he can contribute to those he works with. Nathan participates in Rushing’s Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity Committee (REDI) to contribute to Rushing’s inclusive environment.
When he is not at work he is spending time with his wife and watching Japanese TV of all genres as well as playing board games with friends, and going out to see the natural beauty of the PNW.
