For almost 30 years, Linda has been engineering HVAC and plumbing systems with the goals of enhancing system efficiency and designing systems that benefit the environment. Linda is a Seattle native and received her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington. She also has a LEED-AP accredited.
Linda has worked on a variety of project types including museums, hospitals, laboratories, schools and multi-family residential. Her favorite projects include some of Seattle’s most iconic buildings, the Benaroya music hall and the Museum of Pop Culture. The variety of projects she has worked on has let her keep abreast of industry trends in different sectors.
Linda is excited to join the Rushing team where sustainability is a focus and there are opportunities to act as a technical mentor while working on new and interesting projects like high-rise buildings.
When not at work, Linda enjoys outdoor activities. She rides her bike, runs and likes to swim in local lakes. She has completed the 10-kilometer open water swim in Lake Washington twice.
