Brandon Hunter

Plumbing Project Engineer

E.I.T., CPDT

Brandon Hunter, a Plumbing Project Engineer at Rushing, brings a passion for making the world more sustainable and a knack for math and science to his role. Brandon’s journey into the engineering field was fueled by his high school fascination with chemistry, finding it both fun and cool. Since joining Rushing in 2021, Brandon has evolved significantly, gaining a deeper understanding of the built environment, plumbing, and wastewater systems. Prior to joining the engineering team, he spent a year as a drafter, transitioning from putting lines on paper to performing intricate calculations that contribute to the functionality of buildings.

During his time at Rushing, Brandon has been involved in notable projects, including Port of Everett Millwright District Apartments and Civic Square. His pride lies in his commitment to continuing his education, focusing on safety courses such as legionella bacteria prevention. Looking ahead, Brandon aims to achieve his Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) designation next year, a testament to his dedication and ongoing growth in the field. With a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and a keen ability to adapt to evolving industry standards, Brandon is a valuable asset to our Plumbing Studio. Outside of work, he remains grounded with his furry companion—a loyal Siberian Husky named Saydee—and enjoys the great outdoors that the PNW has to offer.
