Rachel was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, with a profound appreciation for the outdoors and concern about the climate. Her strongest passion is sustainability, and she enjoys pushing the boundaries of energy efficiency and decarbonization as an Energy Analyst.

She earned two Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Appropriate & Sustainable General Engineering from Seattle Pacific University. Rachel is also a certified LEED Green Associate, previously interning as a building performance analyst.

Rachel has a creative mind and natural artistic abilities, allowing her to solve problems uniquely and deliver high-quality illustrations and visual aids. In her free time, Rachel enjoys the thrill of the hunt while thrifting and finding the best places to eat in Seattle. You can also find her reading fantasy, exercising outside, and taking photos of her cat Anakin.
