Relocated from New City, NY, Andrew got his bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, with a focus in Environmental Engineering/Sustainable Systems, and a master’s degree in engineering management at Cornell University. Andrew offers his passion for sustainability through interdisciplinary engineering and collaboration. His interest in sustainability/environmental engineering came when he was involved in a gravity-fed water treatment research group to help provide clean water to communities without access to water. He also spent a summer in Iceland studying renewable energy systems.
After graduating, Andrew worked as a Systems Project Engineer for a GC in Washington DC/Virginia. His focus was a VDC MEP Coordinator for a 24-story core and shell office building. With his background in engineering and construction, Andrew is a valuable asset to Rushing’s Sustainability Studio. He is passionate about Rushing’s holistic approach to its projects and team.
Andrew enjoys hiking, playing tennis, building computers, learning VFX, and eating new cuisines in his free time.
