Ground broke on the Olympic Tower project site this week, a 21-story tower located in the First Hill neighborhood of Seattle. Rushing is providing electrical, mechanical and plumbing engineering services as well as energy, commissioning and lighting services.

This new tower, by the nonprofit Transforming Age which operates Skyline, is located just west of the existing high-rise Skyline retirement community on 9th Avenue. Rushing also provided electrical, mechanical and plumbing engineering services for this existing 20-story tower.

According to Transforming Age, 70 percent of the units in Olympic Tower have already been reserved, which is now adding applicants to a waitlist. Amenities will include a café and bar, salon and spa, rooftop terrace with a fire pit and dog run, game lounge, fitness center and 240-seat performing arts center.
