A new office project is underway in Kirkland, Washington, utilizing mass timber construction, a more environmentally friendly alternative to conventional steel and concrete materials. Rushing is providing mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering as well as energy services for the project.

The two-story office building will offer 50,420 square feet of office space and include two levels of underground parking. Other sustainable features of the project site will also include solar panels, a green roof, operable windows and a rain garden as well as bike parking and showers for cycle commuters.
