Elara at the Market (2134 Western)

Elara at the Market is a 145-unit mixed-use apartment building situated in downtown Seattle. Eleanor (68th and 8th)

Eleanor is a 7-story multifamily building in Seattle’s Roosevelt neighborhood. With 260 units, the site’s two distinct building surround a welcoming, green courtyard. Eleanor earned LEED for Homes Gold certification and is just around the corner from a future light rail station.

Ernestine Anderson Place

This five-story apartment building located in Seattle’s Central District offers low-income housing for seniors over age 55. With 60 studio and one-bedroom apartments the site is named after Ernestine Anderson, jazz singer from Seattle and graduate of Garfield High School. First Hill Streetcar

Rushing was the MEP engineer of record and sustainability/LEED consultant for the First Hill Streetcar Maintenance Facility, providing Integrated Design Facilitation; Sustainability and LEED Consulting; Natural Ventilation Analysis; and Energy Modeling for LEED and Seattle Energy Code RS-29 compliance. Helios (2nd and Pine)

This 40-story residential tower includes 398 luxury apartments position atop a podium of 3,000 square feet of retail space. Helios also features a rooftop deck, electric vehicle charging stations, low energy appliances, bicycle parking, and a five-story 217-stall underground parking garage. The project received LEED Gold certification May 2018.  

Institute for Systems Biology

Rushing was the MEP Engineer of Record for the relocation of this tenant in South Lake Union. Construction cost equaled $12.5 million and was completed in April 2011. King Street Station

Rushing provided tenant improvement renovations to the historic downtown Amtrak train station. Included were HVAC and plumbing design, electrical, lighting, life safety systems and telecommunications cabling infrastructure design for 12,000 square feet of mezzanine. Nexus (1200 Howell)

The NEXUS condominium tower, located in Seattle’s fastest-growing neighborhood, the Denny Triangle, opened in 2019. This location places the tower within steps of the planned Washington State Convention Center expansion as well as numerous major transportation corridors.
