Construction begins on Cedar Crossing

Cedar Crossing, an eight-story affordable housing project by Bellwether Housing and Mercy Housing Northwest, is beginning construction in Seattle’s Roosevelt neighborhood. Rushing is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer-of-record for the project and is also providing lighting design and energy services.

In addition to 254 units, the site will also include childcare and parking as well as retail and grocery space. The development is being built at the Sound Transit Roosevelt light rail station scheduled to open next year.

Scheduled for completion in 2022, the site is designed by VIA Architecture.
