A new high-rise mixed-use tower is in the works in downtown Seattle’s Denny Triangle. Early plans filed with the city last month lay out a building adjacent to and atop the well-known Butcher’s Table restaurant. Rushing is providing mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering as well as lighting design and energy and commissioning services for the site.

Located at 801 Blanchard, design plans call for the footprint of the mixed-use tower to be built around the recently expanded Butcher’s Table building in a trapezoid shape coming in at only 8,000 square feet, with the tower cantilevering above the restaurant.
