Plans for a new eight-story office building by developer Schnitzer West are underway for 570 Mercer. Rushing is serving as the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering, energy, lighting and sustainability consultant for the project which plans to participate in Seattle’s Living Building Pilot Program.
The site, designed by Weber Thompson, is tentatively scheduled for its first design review with the West Design Review Board on June 3, 2020.
Plans currently include approximately 108,000 square feet of office space and two levels of below-grade parking, as well as add easier public pedestrian access to this and adjacent sites.
