E.I.T., Electrical Project Engineer
Semir comes from the small but beautiful southeastern European country of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He began his formal education by specializing in fundamentals of electrical engineering in high school. This gave him the perfect opportunity to build upon a childhood love for all things electrical (not counting several times he received minor electroshocks during early-age experiments). Pursuing a degree in electrical engineering was a natural next step, and shortly after moving to the US in 2001, he enrolled in classes. He graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and minor in Applied Mathematics. After graduation, Semir took a job at a local consulting firm where he spent eight years working on wide variety of projects, from critical facilities to commercial office buildings. He prides himself on getting things done right the first time and providing clients with creative, project-appropriate solutions. He strives to deliver clients designs that meet their project needs while maintaining the highest levels of integrity and interpersonal relations.
Outside of the workplace, Semir is a fan of nearly every sport. He is most passionate about soccer which he has been watching and playing all his life. He and his wife love to travel and are always on the lookout for new and exciting destinations, but they’re also not against some quiet time at home with a good movie or a game of cards.
