Lead Lighting Designer
IALD Associate, LEED AP ID+C
With a bachelor of arts degree in interior design from Washington State University, Emily’s expertise lies in lighting design, architectural drafting, and 3D modeling and rendering. She approaches every project with attention to detail and supports project teams by developing lighting layouts, controls, energy efficiency measures, and specifications.
In 2008, Emily won First Place in the Cooper Source Awards for lighting design.
Recent projects of Emily’s include the lighting design for the Bellevue Park Hotel, and for 1915 Second Avenue, which called for centenary lighting to be strung across an open alleyway, a design concept she first had to present to the Seattle Department of Transportation for their review and acceptance.
Emily loves to travel overseas and makes it her mission to take off to a new destination once a year. She spent a year studying in London, explored all over Europe. Next? Maybe Bali!
